New Plug-In Gas Alarm Protects Truck Drivers
Following customer requests, Nereus Alarms have launched the EA1200 plug-in gas attack alarm. The unit detects the ether-based ‘sleeping gases’ increasingly used in robberies on the continent. It is small (65x65x25mm), tough, reliable and sounds a very loud alarm when low levels of the gas are detected. To use, the lead is simply plugged into the cab 12V cigarette socket and the alarm placed close to the sleeping area.
The alarm is ideal for drivers who use a number of different vehicles or to fleet operators with runs to the continent.
The popular EA1000 unit will continue to be available for those who prefer a permanent cab installation or for trucks which have cigarette sockets with timed cut-off.
